BANG OUT OF ORDER
by watersprout inbang out of order seems to have made a couple of posters laugh on here, as they had never heard it before.. it's wierd for me because it's a saying i have always heard/used...good old british slang.. it means that what someone has said is hurtful and unacceptable.. some slang terms from where i come from in the ''black country''.. up the wooden hills - go to bed.
put the wood in the hole - shut the door.
chuffed - pleased.

Some more words:
Knackered - tired.
Ginnel - Passageway between houses.
Arse - like the American version ass.

Do they use Jehovah's name repeatedly because it's their name?
by WalkTall ini was thinking when reading another thread where it was mentioned how god's name was never used in the nt, but how often it is uttered in khs that it is used so often, not because we need to use his name, but because it is the name associated with their organization.
it is their name really.
could that be why it's used so often?.

I find very pretty men age badly I suspect leonardo de Caprio may be one of them as will be Brad Pitt. Whereas men with more character in their features age much better.
Was true in the case of Robert Redford, he was pretty and isn't ageing well. Johnny Depp seems to be doing OK though.
It's a shame Steve McQueen never got to age, he was smoking hot!
I think Renee Zellweger is very underwhelming. Julia Roberts is more striking than attractive.
